Responsible to perform a variety of specific duties, both within the store and assigned store locations, under the supervision of the Store Manager. General duties include: unloading of merchandise trucks, received DC merchandise inventory control, and preparing all merchandise for display. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with forklift operations, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in both team and independent environments. This role requires attention to safety, communication, and organization in a fast-paced utility warehouse setting. Key Responsibilities Safely load and unload warehouse materials utilizing a forklift. Assist Senior Storekeepers with receiving and putting away materials. Maintain warehouse and yard housekeeping to ensure a clean, safe, and organized work area. Support inventory control and material tracking as needed. Follow all safety procedures, reporting any hazards or incidents promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient daily operations. Skill Sets & Expertise Proven forklift experience (operation, loading/unloading). Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently or collaboratively as needed. Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities. Self-starter with a proactive attitude and strong attention to detail. Required Qualifications 1-3 years of related warehouse or material handling experience. High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Forklift Certification (required).
