Summary of Position: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, products, and inventory within the warehouse. Key duties include loading and unloading materials, operating forklifts and other industrial vehicles safely, and ensuring accurate record-keeping for inventory and distribution. You will also label and monitor outgoing products, verify order accuracy, and participate in maintaining a clean and organized workspace during scheduled downtime. Responsibilities Read and interpret work orders or follow verbal instructions to determine materials or containers to be moved, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Load and unload materials, including packaging supplies and finished goods, to and from designated warehouse areas. Safely operate forklifts, clamps, and other industrial trucks to transport materials, products, and items to assigned locations. Accurately record materials or items received, distributed, or moved, ensuring all paperwork, such as move sheets and load sheets, is completed correctly. Review customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to identify items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Label materials with proper identifying information and monitor outgoing finished products for accuracy and quality. Perform inventory counts and ensure items are distributed within the plant according to company standards, including maintaining accuracy and proper rotation of date codes. Use computer systems to enter and maintain inventory records, ensuring data accuracy and up-to-date tracking. Conduct routine equipment checks and safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial vehicles in compliance with safety protocols. Participate in scheduled downtime activities, including cleaning equipment and designated areas throughout the plant to maintain a safe and organized workspace. Assist in organizing and maintaining warehouse storage areas to optimize space and improve workflow efficiency. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues promptly. Summary/Objective The Warehouse Manager oversees all daily operations within the Warehouse Department, ensuring efficiency, safety, and accuracy in receiving, storing, and distributing materials. This role is responsible for leading warehouse staff, driving 5S initiatives, and maintaining best-in-class inventory and logistics practices aligned with VanTran's production goals. Essential Functions Daily on-site attendance. Manage and coordinate all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory, storage, and job kit fulfillment. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for performing various business critical tasks in the shipping, receiving, storage, and movement of materials used in a large scale greenhouse production facility. Typical inbound shipments will include packaging materials, growing inputs, and hazardous materials used in the cleaning process. This position works closely with the manufacturing and quality departments and sales reps throughout our dealership network. This role is expected to deliver the most accurate documentation and information possible to the customer and dealership network. This role is responsible for ensuring a smooth final inspection process with customers, coordinating all required rework, and managing communication between Quality, Production and Sales. The Delivery Coordinator ensures all rework items are completed within the allotted timeframe, whether onsite or through third-party suppliers, and that trucks meet the highest standards of quality and customer expectations before delivery. All delivery processes must be done in a timely manner to keep the flow of trucks moving. Essential Functions: · Present Skeeter products in an effective manner that ensures customer understanding. · Maintain a high degree of product and technical knowledge of Skeeter trucks for answering questions about our product offerings. · Resolve customer inquiries for vehicle technology inquiries by using factory resources. · Troubleshoot Vehicle Technology features to demo the function during delivery. · Master product knowledge on all vehicles before the customer arrives on site or have someone on standby available to assist. · Develop and practice presentations for all vehicles and their features. · Assist customers in the delivery of their vehicles and personalize those deliveries to their needs. · Demonstrate vehicle features, technical and dynamic systems, and controls by pump testing, driving the trucks, and operating in 4x4.
