Job Summary:
The Route Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team drivers, messengers, and guards that support and performs the Cash in Transit functions. This position ensures accountability and the security of all liability and prioritizes daily operations workflow. The CIT Supervisor assists the Manager in the secure, safe and efficient functioning of the armored car facility.
This position functions in an armed environment. It also requires the enforcement of rules to protect the premises and property of Brink's and its customers, as well as the safety of persons on the premises of Brink's and its customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide first line supervision to CIT employees
• Oversee daily operations including but not limited to route efficiency, route scheduling, opening and closing of branch
• Maintain safe and secure environment with the goal of ensuring that all CIT employees work and return home safely
• Provide coaching and skill development to employees on a consistent basis
• Leverage systems, equipment and process redesign to drive continuous improvement
• Maintain and provide quality customer service
• Secure inventories by executing controls and ensuring strict compliance with security procedures; ensure implementation of measures to reduce worker's compensation injury costs and security losses
• Ensure employees are in compliance with federal, state and local regulations required to perform their duties
• Assist Management as need to meet branch goals
• Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years operations experience in transportation and/or logistics
• Satisfy all applicable Department of Transportation requirements
• Minimum of 21 years of age
• A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing requirements
• A valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licenses
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience as an armored car driver
• Knowledge of route analysis and logistics
• Knowledge of lean/process improvement methodologies
• Knowledge of budgeting and planning experience
• Bachelor's Degree

Maintain and repair tools and equipment as needed.
Ensure that all tools and equipment that is returned to the yard has been inspected and ready for service.
Keep an inventory of tools and equipment that are in the Foreman trailers.
Work closely with Fleet Management on reporting movement, condition, utilization, and requirements of fleet at Norwich location.
Work closely with the Safety department regarding equipment safety programs and training.
Maintain on file all maintenance and repair records.
Keep yard clean and organized.
Dispatch delivery vehicles to jobsites, as needed. Make arrangements for any maintenance, registration, or inspection needed with Fleet management.
Manage the driver operations, including supervising and instructing as needed.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
5 + years of experience working in a warehouse environment; previous supervisory or lead experience preferred; must have mechanical experience to repair tools.
Acceptable driving record.
Ability to work well with and support internal customers
Must know how to operate a fork lift truck; ability to safely operate various power tools.
Must have an active CDL A that permits interstate travel.
Ability to analyze and interpret technical information, such as repair manuals, parts books, etc.
Ability to organize construction assets and account for the cost of maintenance and the location of those assets.
Proficient computer skills, including Excel, Word, Access, and e-mail.

Warehouse Specialist Responsibilities:
Pick customer order tickets

Process inbound materials to the warehouse. Compares quantities shown on packing slip or manifests with actual items received
Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
Ensures materials are placed in the designated area within the warehouse
Stacks skids or pallets in designated area. Cleans up and disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping and places in proper container or designated area
Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping racks, shelves, pallet area, workstations and counter area neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
General housekeeping: sweeping, mopping, dusting, empty trash
Loads delivery truck with product securely-avoid damages
Perform other duties as assigned

The Receiving/Inventory Coordinator is responsible for monitoring incoming receipts of materials and driving the cycle count process. This role ensures daily inventory integrity and accuracy by troubleshooting inventory and transaction discrepancies. The position requires maintaining open communication between Sales, Quality Control, Finance, Operations, Transportation Carriers, and the Warehouse and Operations teams to ensure efficient coordination of all receiving and inventory activities.
Essential Duties
* Process daily cycle counts and enter results.
* Evaluate cycle count accuracy and make recommendations to Finance.
* Assist in cycle counting and related duties to ensure inventory control and accuracy.
* Receive miscellaneous purchase orders.
* Assist the Planning Department with interplant and outside supplier processes.
* Audit warehouse personnel for adherence to Quality Checklists and policies; perform quality checks as needed and report concerns to the Supervisor/Manager.
* Process Quality Control documentation requests and ensure the QC Department provides all requested documents.
* Process all sample requests.
* Communicate daily and effectively with Inside Sales, Quality, Shipping, IT, and Accounting to resolve system-related problems and discrepancies.
* Maintain a close working relationship with Accounting to ensure all shipping documents are forwarded to invoicing daily and all computer files related to invoicing are updated.
* Process all stock transfers between East Granby and any remote warehouses.
Additional Duties - Assist Shipping Team
* Process shipments according to customer sales order specifications.
* Process all stock orders by preparing cut paperwork and updating orders in the system to reflect work in progress.
* Confirm each shipment meets customer packaging specifications and review all documentation (manifests, packing lists, air bills, bills of lading, quality reports, etc.) for accuracy and completeness.
* Verify shipment contents - total footage, length requirements, labeling, reel sizes, wrapping, etc. - to ensure they exactly match the customer's order; communicate discrepancies promptly.
* Assign pickups to carriers and organize the daily pickup schedule.
Education and Experience Preferred
* High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced education beyond high school preferred.
* Aptitude for working with numbers and computer systems/reports.
Knowledge and Skills Preferred
* Strong attention to detail and follow-through; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Effective communication skills with all levels of the organization and external partners.

Position Summary

Job Summary
The Supervisor, Warehouse Operations supervises a team of Outbound Operations warehouse associates and ensures that pick, pack, and ship operations are safe, efficient, and of high quality. With responsibility for the night shift, the Supervisor continually monitors efficiency and quality metrics, assigns work and provides coaching to supervised staff, and addresses a variety of operational issues. The Supervisor directly contributes to Cardinal Health's customer service reputation by ensuring that shipments are on-time and of high quality, develops the Warehouse Operations talent pool, and enhances operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Supervises the daily work assignments and performance of Group Leads and Associates. Tracks efficiency and productivity metrics to determine which tasks are behind- and ahead-of-schedule, and provides hands-on guidance to Associates to ensure that pick, pack, and ship tasks are completed correctly and safely.
Ensures that all warehouse systems are ready and schedules and prioritizes the work that each Group Lead and team of Associates will complete. Tracks employee attendance and ensures necessary employee headcount to achieve objectives.
Monitors continually productivity and quality metrics including cycle times, lines per hour, shortages, damaged units, missed dispatches, and missed scans, among others. Regularly reports on team performance to the Manager, Warehouse Operations.

Promptly and thoroughly documents the issue and communicates the root cause and resolution to the Manager, Supervisors, and other internal stakeholders as necessary.
Proactively identifies opportunities to improve operations and mitigate risks within supervised team and broader warehouse operations. Provides input into operational excellence initiatives and ensures that there are implemented correctly within own area.
Conducts performance evaluations and provides one-on-one feedback to encourage Associates' development. Identifies Associates capable of working as Group Leads. Creates performance improvement plans for staff and administers discipline when necessary.
Participates in the interviewing and selection of new Associates and provides trainings during employee onboarding.
Qualifications
