Qualifications Education/Certification * Bachelor's degree from an accredited university * Valid Texas teaching certificate in Mathematics (Grades 7-12 or 8-12) or eligible for alternative certification in secondary mathematics * Meets "Highly Qualified" status as defined by TEA (if applicable) Special Knowledge/Skills * Strong knowledge of high school mathematics content, specifically Algebra II TEKS * Ability to design and deliver engaging, rigorous lessons that meet diverse learner needs * Skill in using data to guide instruction and interventions * Ability to manage student behavior in a positive, consistent manner * Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills * Comfortable using technology to support instruction (interactive boards, online resources, LMS, etc.) Experience * Prior successful teaching experience at the secondary level preferred.
