August 31, 1963 The Xaverian Brothers provincial Brother Gilroy, C.F.X., the first principal, Brother Marcellus, C.F.X., and Cardinal Cushing officiated at the dedication ceremony for the new Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood.
June 12, 1967 Xaverian’s first Commencement takes place.
March 13, 1978 The J. Geils Band performs a concert at Xaverian.
