JOB SUMMARY Computer Science Ottawa University is accepting applications for potential openings for Adjunct Instructor positions. The need for these positions is undetermined at this time and is dependent on operational need including enrollment and staffing If a need arises, the department will select candidates from this general adjunct posting. We do post adjunct instructor positions for specific areas and needs periodically and you will need to apply as you see those become available. If you are interested in teaching in a university setting, it can be helpful to gain experience as an adjunct instructor. Many of our adjunct instructors hold a full-time career elsewhere, and choose to teach in our evening, weekend, and online programs so that they may have the opportunity to teach students. Ottawa University employs adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate/graduate level coursework for its adult campuses. Each location has an Academic Coordinator/Academic Dean dedicated to hiring for adjunct teaching responsibilities.
