American Heritage Girls company history timeline

1995

American Heritage Girls began its first year of programming in the fall of 1995 with about 10 troops and roughly 100 members.

Since its start in 1995 in West Chester, Ohio, AHG has grown from 10 Troops and 100 Members to over 50,000 members across 15 countries and 50 states.

2010

AHG experienced a substantial membership increase in 2010 when they became the first all-girl program to partner with the Boy Scouts of America, a partnership that later ended when BSA changed their membership standards.

2013

In May 2013, the AHG dissolved its relationship with the BSA in reaction to the BSA's new policy on gay youth, which removed the restriction denying membership to youth on the basis of sexual orientation.

A leadership meeting was held in Louisville, Kentucky on June 29, 2013, to discuss forming a new boys group.

Since 2013 Driven Coffee has become America's largest and most trusted coffee fundraiser.
