How do you list pilot ratings on a resume?
You list your pilot ratings on a resume along with their certificate information. A private pilot or commercial pilot can add a rating to their certificate to advance their opportunities.
There are a few different types of pilot ratings that can be added to the resume with the certificate. It will be important to know the best way to highlight these ratings on your resume in order to be considered for the role that you desire.
You can list your instrument ratings on your resume by listing them after your private pilot certificate or commercial pilot certificate. An instrument rating allows a pilot to fly by sole reference to the instruments in the flight deck and without any reference to the ground outside.
If you are planning to apply for a commercial airline, you must include a multi-engine rating with your certificate information on your resume. A multi-engine rating shows that a pilot is able to fly in a twin-engine aircraft.
