Be prepared to discuss your commitment to the Air National Guard experience and your desire to serve your country while being able to attend school full-time or pursue a civilian career.
Understand that as a guard member, you will be required to attend one drill per month and one period of annual training per year. If you have no prior military experience, you will be required to sign up for an 8-year contract.
For the last two years, you may serve in the inactive ready reserve (this means you will be subject to recall in the event of a national emergency).
