How much are supreme court justices paid?

As of January 2023, supreme court justices are paid between $285,400 to $298,500. The lower number is for associate justices and the higher salary is given to the Chief Justice. This number increased from 2022 by over $10,000 for each position.

Interestingly enough, while the salary of the president has changed 5 times throughout US history, supreme court justices have seen increases over 50 times. In fact, since 2001, US presidents have earned $400,000 annually. In that same time, justices have gone from $178,300-$186,300, an increase of over $100,000.
