How much does Taco Bell pay 16-year-olds?

By Zippia Team - Aug. 22, 2022

Taco Bell pays 16-year-olds an average of $10.58 per hour. At most Taco Bell locations, a 16-year-old employee will have the position of a cashier or fast food worker. In most cases, the pay for these positions ranges from $8 to $14 per hour.

Keep in mind that this is based on the minimum wage requirements for the state in which the restaurant is located. In some states where the cost of living is higher, it is possible to have a higher starting wage.

In December 2021, Taco Bell committed to increasing the average minimum wage to $15 an hour across company-owned restaurants by mid-year 2024. They have also rolled out a new leadership program called the Entrepreneur, which is aimed at developing general managers with an earning potential of up to $100,000 per year.
