By Kate Swindlehurst - Jun. 13, 2023

Yes. it is fairly difficult to be a contract-registered nurse. The most difficult part of being a contract nurse, or a travel nurse as it is often called, is that you are moving around a lot. This can be both a positive and a negative.

Travel nurses can enjoy lots of travel and new experiences for each of their new contracts. This can be extremely exciting, but it also comes with drawbacks. It can be difficult to be away from friends and family. It also can be stressful finding places to live if you are only planning on staying for a temporary amount of time.
