What degree do you need to be an engagement manager?
A degree is not required to be a customer engagement manager; however, most companies look to hire people with at least an associate's degree. More commonly, companies look for individuals who hold a bachelor's degree in business administration or management.
If a person wants to move up within their role, company, and industry, they should consider pursuing a degree. This is because degree programs include human resources, professional ethics, and business administration coursework.
While some of this information can easily be learned on the job, most of it is not communicated in a work setting. These classes provide tools and information that good customer engagement can utilize every day.

These certifications are through the Customer Service Institute of America and offer credentials that demonstrate leadership capabilities, key customer service skills, and other technical and soft skills needed for the role.
