• Conduct research. Conducting research is crucial for technical writers. They need to ensure that all of their writing is factual and accurate. Often, technical writers work closely with product designers and developers to answer questions and clarify points to make sure the writing is accurate and comprehensive.
• Present work for feedback. Presenting work to clients is important for technical writers. At the end of every project they may work directly with clients, or send their work to someone higher up. There is also often editing and fact checking to perform with other technical writers working on the same project.
