What does a warehouse associate do at Target?

The primary job of a Target warehouse associate is to process products arriving and departing from the warehouse. Associates at target are expected to be organized and keep their work environment clean.

When receiving merchandise, associates are expected to inspect, process, and sort incoming materials. Basic computer skills are necessary, and training is provided to track inventory. Associates use conveyor systems to move products within the warehouse.

Warehouse associates are also responsible for the shipping of products leaving the warehouse. Prepping, packing, and labeling outgoing orders after being inspected for damage is an important part of the job.
