A lead operator is a mechanic who manages and operates industrial machinery. A lead operator balances economic success with environmental protection and social responsibility.

Facilitates and leads group meetings
Interfaces and coordinates with support departments.
Assists employees in resolving conflicts
Responsible for the paperwork to start up and shut down their line or area
Assign labor based on labor standards, operator qualifications, and machine scheduling priorities
Coordinate break schedules and assist with machine operation during breaks
