This question is about Air National Guard.
The dress code for the Air National Guard is the operational camouflage pattern (OCP) and is the same uniform that the United States Army uses. The OCP is a gray and sage green digital tiger-stripe uniform that is worn with suede boots. The dress code is slightly less stringent when it comes to required pressing and boot polishing.
The United States flag patch must be spice brown and must be worn while in garrison or deployed. Infrared flags are not authorized.
Hair should be clean, well-groomed, and neat. Avoid using excessive amounts of grooming aids. Hair may be dyed but must look natural.
Male hairstyles must have a tapered appearance on both sides and back. The hair must not touch the ears, and only the closely cut or shaved hair on the back of the neck may touch the collar. A block cut is permissible as long as the tapered appearance is maintained.
Female hairstyles must present a professional appearance and must be a minimum of one inch. Hair must not exceed 3 inches in bulk or be styled in a way that prevents proper wear of headgear. Buns and ponytails are allowed. However, ornamentation such as ribbons is not allowed.
Tattoos, brands, and body markings anywhere on the body that is obscene or promote discrimination are prohibited both in and out of uniform. Excessive tattoos and brands will not be exposed or visible, including visible through the uniform. Any tattoo or brand above the collarbone is prohibited.
