What is the dress code at Defiance College?

Jeans may be allowed in some settings, depending on the position and location. Jeans should be dressy and not ripped, torn, or disheveled.

For some management or director-level positions, business professional attire may be required, especially for larger corporate meetings, events, or group settings.

Examples of appropriate business professional clothing:

• Pressed slacks, skirts, or dresses

• Pressed button-down shirts or blouses

• Flats, pumps, or heels (less than 3 inches high)

• Oxfords or loafers

• Minimal jewelry

• Simple ties (avoid bold colors and patterns)
