What is the hiring process at CNN?

The hiring process at CNN is standard for the media industry and consists of several interviews before receiving a final decision.

You apply for a job at CNN on their parent company's job website, Warner Media. You can also apply through a third party-career website.

After applying to your specific department and role, you then take an online CNN assessment through HireVue. This is considered an interview, but it is conducted by an automated computer system.

HireVue sends you a series of interview questions you answer via video on your laptop, tablet, or smartphone. You have 30 seconds to prepare, then a set time of 90 seconds to three minutes (depending on the question) to record and submit your answer.

HireVue gives you the chance to answer practice questions before completing the official interview.
