What is the hiring process at Riot Games?

If it still seems like a good fit, you will have two more Google Hangout interviews. These calls will cover topics such as:

• Past work experience

• Craft knowledge

• Skills required for the role

• Company value alignment

The goal of these interviews is for Riot Games to get to know you and for you to get to know them. Be engaged and ask questions.

Some roles will require tests as part of the process. These are all take home/online assignments and you will be given all of the information needed to complete them. Most assignments have flexible return dates, and you can always reach out to your recruiter if you need more time.

Some roles will also require a whiteboard or portfolio review. These will take place using Draw.io and screen-sharing through Google Hangouts.

Interview tips from Riot Games include:

• Find a place where you can be calm, but don't worry too much about things going "wrong". Riot Games knows that everyone is human, so if your kiddo runs into the screen, it's no big deal!

• Be prepared to answer open-ended questions. The best answers will cover SAO: the Setting you found yourself in, the Action you took, and the Outcome that resulted from your efforts.

• Bring questions to ask. You are interviewing them just as much as they are interviewing you.

• Talk them through your thinking. This helps them to "see" how you work and think.
