What is Trauma?

Trauma, in the medical sense, is a term used to describe the emotional and physical reactions and consequences of pain, injuries, and other forms of hurt. The term Major Trauma, for example, describes some sort of injury that could potentially lead to temporary, prolonged, or even permanent disability or, even, death, and such trauma can be earned through a number of different events, such as automobile accidents, falls, wounds from attacks, including gunshots and stabbing, and so on.
