What qualifications do you need for an apprenticeship?
The qualifications needed for an apprenticeship depend on the trade; however, all apprenticeships require a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Typically, potential apprentices must have a high school diploma and a clean criminal record. Apprentices in hazardous jobs must be 18 years old and able to physically perform the work.
