You should wear a comfortable outfit for a nanny interview. Dressing too formally for a nanny interview can be off-putting to parents or guardians. However, this does not mean you should go in with your pajamas, a provocative outfit, or wear dirty or ripped-up clothes.

You want to aim for an outfit that is casual and kid-friendly. Jeans and a not too busy t-shirt or blouse are appropriate. Khakis or a skirt are also fine, but just be sure that whatever you wear is comfortable enough for you to sit on the floor with a child.
