Where does a quality assurance technician work?

Quality assurance technicians typically work in the manufacturing facility where products are made. They will inspect, sample, and test goods to assure they are free of defects before leaving the facility.

Quality assurance technicians exist in all manufacturing industries, from food to electronics. It may be someone working on the floor calibrating and maintaining equipment or collecting data and writing reports on the final products.
