A founder of Aspen Academy, a private, not-for-profit Denver independent school serving students Pre K-8, Lynda believes in education that can make the world a better place. Having completed terms as Board President, Lynda now serves as Chief Operating Officer. Aspen Academy’s accelerated learning program emphasizes character and leadership development centered around its only rule: “Be kind.”

• Develop and perpetuate a true love of learning through personal instruction and instructional methodology. Through a personalized method of learning, students learn the scope and breadth of their potential, not just the curriculum at hand.

Prior to developing her passion in fine education, Lynda worked as Performance Management Consultant and Retail Operations Manager at Ralston Purina, earning many distinctions including the Retail Excellence Award, the Customer Excellence Award, and the Innovator Award.

Lynda earned her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego after graduating Summa Cum Laude from Miami University with a B.S. in Marketing. She is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma and Alpha Mu Alpha national honor societies.

Lynda currently lives in Centennial, Colorado. She serves on the Board for Real Colorado and is member of the Steering Committee and Business Development Committee. She is also a certified Tae Bo(R) instructor.
