Primary Purpose of Position Demonstrates mastery of skills and extensive subject matter knowledge in carrying out assignments associated with the analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and proposed modification of Clean Energy Center (CEC) specific maintenance or technical training programs. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Drives CEC and personnel performance improvement using training. Develops, schedules, coordinates, and conducts performance-based training programs as required by user community in accordance with Constellation's Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) model, department procedures, and with proper application of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases. Prepares trainee examination and conducts trainee evaluations for classroom, laboratory, on the job training, and simulator environments, as appropriate and conducts counseling sessions for trainees, evaluates the results, and recommends/develops individualized training programs. Participates in CEC support activities, i.e. outage support, root cause support, line assessment support. Assures the training programs are maintained current and incorporate information gained from Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) Significant Operating Experience Reports and Constellation Nuclear Event Reports (NERs), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Bulletins and Information Notices, CEC design change and backfit information, CEC procedure changes and revisions, new regulations, and training effectiveness reports. Support CEC and fleet in the areas of business initiatives, project management, refuel outage support, emergency preparedness duties, and special projects. Supervises the collection and maintenance of auditable training records and reports required to document training program activities. Participates in NRC, INPO and management audits, and prepares responses to audit findings. While this position is primarily associated with and works within the Practical Nursing Program, the person in this position may be assigned responsibilities within the Associate Degree Nursing program based on their qualifications and the needs of the College. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: 1. Prepare and teach courses as assigned by the Dean of Health Professions / Associate Dean of Health Professions. 2. On the first day of each course, review and post, via the Learning Management System (LMS), a syllabus that provides, at minimum, the following information: a. Expected outcomes and performance objectives. b. Grading policy. c. Attendance policy - make-up work/tests. d. Schedule of assignments. e. Login information for students to access the College's LMS. 3. Provide the Dean of Health Professions / Associate Dean of Health Professions with copies of materials listed in Item 2 above. 4. Maintain office hours in accordance with the Faculty Bargaining Agreement. 5. Participate in student advising and registration. 6. Assist students in formulating educational and career plans. 7.
