Salary Range $23.00/hr

Overview:
The Valet Attendant ensures that all guests are warmly welcomed upon their arrival at the entrance of the Hotel. They also assures a quality arrival and departure experience at the door including assistance with luggage, parking and retrieving cars, and accommodating guests during their stay in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
Properly stand at attention at the hotel entrance.
Open doors greeting guest with smile and friendly comment as they enter and exit the hotel.
Greet arriving vehicles, opening doors for the guest and greeting them in a proper manner. Assist guests with luggage to the curbside and direct them to front desk or other areas as required.
Valet guest cars within the procedures set for the department, ensuring that guest car and keys are safe and secure. Each vehicle will be clearly tagged.
Assist guest with directions and information of property as required.
Assist departing guest with transportation as requested.
Retrieve valet vehicles in an efficient manner. Follow proper procedure in assisting the guest into the vehicle and loading articles including luggage into the vehicle as required.
Assist Door Attendant in monitoring traffic in the porte cochere.
Also, ensures that the porte cochere is clean of litter, water, oil, and other items that would be considered unacceptable standard in maintaining the cleanliness of the area.
Perform duties as required in the related positions of the department and Door Attendant. Familiar with all procedures of these positions.
Diplomatically handle or refer guest request and complaints.
Ensure any safety or security related procedures are implemented and any possible situation is immediately reported.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state.
At least two years driving experience preferred
Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
Ability to stand during entire shift.
Valid driver license with a clean (zero points) driver's abstract and able to drive standard and automatic vehicles.
Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.

NATURE OF WORK:
Under the direction and supervision of the Guest Services & Operations Supervisor this position is responsible for working in the Child Watch area of the Recreation Center, supervising the children that are dropped off their while their parents use the facility. It will be the responsibility of this position to ensure the safety and well-being of the children. The position interacts with citizens, community organizations, and other city staff. This position may also be asked to assist with the front desk attendants, and various programs and events offered by the department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Monitor the drop-off and pick-up of children to guarantee their safety while in our care, and assure parents are signing in and signing out children properly and presenting identification
Provide basic child care to children in attendance
Plan, organize, and supervise age appropriate on-going activities in the child watch program and interact with children at play, creating a positive experience for the children
Help implement a variety of activities which may include: leading active games, arts and crafts, dance, drama, fitness, music, and various recreational, educational, or cultural enrichment events
Contact parent or guardian to change soiled diapers, cleaning soiled clothing and accessories, attending to the child's needs, and any other similar needs
Maintain a clean and sanitary environment at all times
Coordinate any specific needs the child may have with their parent or guardian
Attending regularly scheduled staff meetings

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Logging all visitor transactions on Company provided documentation to include visual observations of credentials
Verify and scan driver truck load sheets and vehicle bay tags before exiting the facility; ensure that vehicles do not exit without this confirmation
Administrative duties as needed: answer phones, assisting employee/customers with questions, working closely with Company and Customer management, and ensuring compliance with facility and Company rules
Gate locking and crash protection securement as warranted

The
Slot Attendant
is responsible for providing guest service on the
slot
gaming floor, pay out jackpots, and maintain player terminals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Must be willing to work with all regulatory agencies, i.e., Gaming Commission, State, and Federal.
Must learn and ensure policies and procedures are being followed per the departments' Internal Controls.
Must adhere to the Mistequa Casino Hotel Team Member Handbook.
Must adhere to our SMILE service standards and Core Values by providing excellent guest service. Maintain a positive and productive attitude with guests as well as fellow team members.
Repairing and maintaining of Video player terminals.
The slot attendant must be proactive and identify problems and solutions concerning issues on the slot floor. Follow up with the Slot Manager.
Constantly walk the gaming area to assist guest needs, pushing in chairs to provide clear pathways for guests.
Maintain cleanliness of the gaming area by helping housekeeping.
Prepares W-2G for jackpots and gives to the Cage to process. Pay jackpots to guest
Ensure video player terminal is filled with tickets in a timely manner, so as to keep machines in constant operation.
May be required to perform delegated office work.
Assist in maintaining gaming floor security by notifying Management and Security of suspicious activity.
Responsible for staying up to date on current promotions and events. Communicate the information and instructions to our guests.
Prompt new guests to sign onto our players club.
Facilitates the flow of information by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
Must be able to work shift work, holidays, weekends, and special events.
Additional duties as assigned.

Must be 18 years of age to obtain and maintain a License B with Spokane Tribal Gaming Commission.
Attend required training sessions offered by the Casinos.
Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the team members department.
Consult Internal Control Procedures and Policy Manuals for guidance.
Report illegal activity to Security or the appropriate levels of Management.
