**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**
+ Lead the end-to-end solution architecture and design for SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling, with a specialized focus on project-based engineering, manufacturing, and service/warranty environments.
+ Translate complex business requirements from Finance, Controlling, and Project Management stakeholders into a robust, scalable, and standardized S/4HANA solution.
+ Serve as the foremost subject matter expert for project-related financial topics, including the design and implementation of both valuated and non-valuated project stock scenarios.
+ Architect the controlling and costing flows for Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization (PMMO), ensuring accurate cost distribution from grouped stock to individual projects.
+ Design and implement sophisticated project cost planning solutions using Easy Cost Planning (ECP), including the use of multiple CO versions for scenario planning and analysis.
+ Provide strategic guidance on migrations from legacy SAP ECC systems, particularly for clients utilizing Grouping, Pegging, and Distribution (GPD).
+ Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, solution designs, and governance standards, championing a "standard-first" approach to minimize customization and technical debt.
+ Lead design workshops, resolve complex architectural challenges, and provide expert guidance to cross-functional teams.
+ Effectively communicate complex financial and technical concepts to senior leadership to build consensus and drive strategic decision-making.
+ Mentor junior architects and contribute to pre-sales activities, including solutioning, estimation, and proposal development.
+ Act as the primary technical authority for revenue recognition processes within SAP. Architect and configure solutions to ensure compliance with IFRS 15/ASC 606 standards.
**Required Skills and Experience**
+ A minimum of 10 -15 years of experience in SAP FICO implementation, with a deep focus on Controlling (CO).
+ A minimum of 5 years in a Solution Architect or Lead Consultant role, with a proven track record of designing large-scale SAP financial solutions.
+ Demonstrated experience leading the FICO solution design for at least two full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations in a project-based manufacturing environment.
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
+ Expert-level, hands-on configuration and solution design experience in Product Costing (CO-PC), Material Ledger (ML), and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA). Advanced CO-PA is preferable.
+ Deep expertise in designing and implementing solutions for both valued and non-valued project stock, including the end-to-end costing and accounting flows.
+ Proven experience with the controlling and cost distribution aspects of SAP PMMO and a strong understanding of its predecessor, GPD.
+ Demonstrated ability to configure and utilize Easy Cost Planning (ECP) with multiple CO versions for complex project planning scenarios.
+ Strong understanding of the integration points between FICO and other core modules, particularly Project Systems (PS), Materials Management (MM), and Production Planning (PP).
+ Current SAP S/4HANA certifications in Finance are highly preferred.
