ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Represents the company during the sales process by collecting data on customer needs and design specifications, and acting as a liaison between inside technical/design staff and customer in developing sales proposals. Possesses the experience and knowledge to effectively handle complex or highly specialized customer requirements.
Develops sales contracts for a wide range of projects, including residential, multi-family and commercial, by collecting specification information from the client's engineer or architect of record and conveying needs and changes to technical staff and management.
Troubleshoots field issues which may be difficult to resolve or are complex in nature.
Effectively plans and conducts sales presentations for current and prospective customers. Designs professional demonstrations or presentations of company products and services and provides clarification on how we can meet their specific needs.
Researches, identifies and solicits new customers. Generates sales opportunities through research on client needs, industry competition and effective demonstration of the features and benefits of the company's products and services.
Continuously updates customers on products and services and provides explanations how these products and services meet current or future customer requirements.
Participates in a leadership role, such as chairing meetings, acting in the Sales Manager's capacity during his/her absence and helping train and develop less experienced members of the sales staff.
May provide training to less experienced Outside Sales Reps
Prepares recurring and special reports, forms or other documentation for management, as required.
Enhances knowledge of sales techniques and expands product and industry knowledge by attending company-sponsored training programs. May serve as presenter at training programs to assist in the development of less experienced Outside Sales Reps.
Plans and paces own work efficiency in order to meet daily, weekly, project or team-related productivity goals
Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or coworkers. Attends periodic safety meetings as required. May recommend changes to improve safety procedures.
Carries out other duties as assigned.

The Manager, Warehouse will ensure a warehouse culture focused on people, safety, service, and cost through meaningful engagements with warehouse associates, best in-class service to customers, and safe and profitable operations. They will use their experience in warehouse operations to manage personnel and drive efficient warehouse operations through the associates they lead, ensuring the safe, accurate and timely receiving and storage of inbound product or selection and loading of outbound product.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead with a safety mindset that ensures that every US Foods associate remains injury free, always. Champion safety procedures, processes and training to create and maintain a safety-first culture in the warehouse.
• Oversee and develop warehouse associates through one-on-one coaching, training on policy and procedures, assisting in problem resolution when required, and leading by example. Discuss associate performance with Sr. Warehouse Managers and create plans to address gaps.
• Create a cohesive organization by keeping lines of communication open and directing workforce to ensure efficient workflow.
• Direct and supervise the work and productivity of associates within the warehouse department. Drive associate engagement and retention, and create a culture that embodies US Foods values.
• Participate in building high-performing teams by interviewing and hiring warehouse personnel, in conjunction with Sr. Warehouse Managers. Review performance, coach on productivity and safety targets, and deliver disciplinary action.
• Lead and direct associates to achieve accurate orders that are then staged and loaded on the trucks. Oversee the preparation of the warehouse for shipping or receiving on the next shift.
• Monitor operational information, such as "mis-picks" and productivity reports, to ensure the entire shift meets rates and follows preferred methods. Take action through coaching and counseling to correct behaviors.
• On day shift, designate dock locations for inbound carriers. Ensure product is stocked in appropriate location in accordance with food safety and FIFO processes & procedures. Monitor replenishment activity to ensure stock is available for the shipping shift and to minimize the potential for “shorts”. Oversee will call.
• Maintain physical condition and safety of warehouse and equipment, including preparing work orders for repairs and requisitions for equipment.
• Work with operations management team to identify sources of inventory shrink and assist in development of an action plan. Analyze the current operations and make recommendations to improve on expense and cost control.
• Regularly inspect facility for safety hazards and either resolve them or report them to the safety manager as appropriate. Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse and its equipment.
• Ensure Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and FSQA requirements are followed.
• Effectively schedule working shifts by leveraging appropriate planning tools (i.e., Microsoft Excel)
• Other duties assigned by manager.
SUPERVISION:
• Direct: Union and/or non-union warehouse on-floor associates (Loaders, Selectors, Receivers, Forklift drivers, etc.)
RELATIONSHIPS

Related Experience/Requirements:
• Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution required.
• Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication and people development skills.
• Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret financial and operational data.

Located after the cage dumper, this is the first chain-driven operation. The live hanger position removes a bird from the hanging belt, by grasping a chicken first by one leg and then the other leg. Once positioned, breast side away from hanger, they will hang the bird by both legs into a shackle. Hang rate varies by bird weight. All live hangers will rotate positions from front to back. The hangers will place any DOA's into DOA barrel at end of conveyor.

Main Ingredients of the Job
As a US FOODS Night Warehouse Selector you will be responsible for preparing customer orders that grow our business, instilling and reinforcing safety above all else. We TEAM UP to deliver exact and damage-free orders. Your efforts are the foundation that defines US FOODS success based on our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service.
What You Bring to the Table
Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday - Thursday.
At times weekends and holidays will required
Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred
Lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc.
Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred
Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred
Physical Requirements
Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees required
Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases of product during each shift required

Mechanic will be responsible for the troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of the Fleet road equipment including tractor, trailer, thermo-king, converter dolly and maintenance vehicles. Ensure compliance with all State and Federal trucking regulations. Mechanics will also be responsible for the documentation, completion, and to keep current the maintenance logs for all repairs and parts used daily. The position will be required to perform road rescue as needed.
**This application is only available to active-duty service members eligible to participate in a DoD SkillBridge Internship. The service member must be within the last 12 months of their active-duty contract.** **This is an unpaid, non-benefit eligible internship position in partnership with the DoD SkillBridge program.**
Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (i.e., tractors, trailers, bobtails, reefers, lift gates, etc.).
Perform preventative maintenance within company standards.
Complete documentation of all repair orders, PM list and parts accountability.
Handle road service calls; perform road rescue/transport equipment as needed.
Keep track of assigned repairs by logging in and out of the Shop Fax system.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations and government guidelines.
Maintain inventory and proper recordkeeping.
Backup to other maintenance shop personnel.
Willingness and capacity to assume increased responsibility and certifications.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Must have (3) years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic or a combination of both; or (2) years verifiable hands-on experience with either Diesel Mechanic Certification or TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certification or both.
Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs.
Successfully demonstrated independent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Prior experience in administering appropriate PM program.
Must furnish own personal hand tools.
CDL A and DOT certified preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to comply with EPA and OSHA regulations as pertaining to the shop and fleet.
Ability to read and understand technical and service manuals.
Excellent communication skills; able to communicate with co-workers and drivers with demonstrated teamwork skills.

- Work with Area Leaders to implement appropriate organizational structures as designed and key capabilities required to achieve business objectives. Complete workforce analysis for any RIF process. Work with region leadership and legal to assess risk.
- Drive effective Employee Relations activities designed to promote a positive work environment and advocate for the associate experience.
- Facilitate and follow up on the development of implementation of action plans designed to address issues surfaced through employee surveys-either locally driven or corporate driven.
- Engage effectively with Functional Partners and HR Centers of Excellence. In a market of this size with implications for Region and Company performance, partnering proactively, providing feedback, and engaging across the HR function is essential to successful execution of initiatives.
- Provide insight into Area specific needs for training to Region Leadership and centralized talent management team.

- Demonstrated ability to build relationship s at senior levels as well as deeper into the organization
- Must have direct experience leading HR
- 10% travel required
**Certifications/Training**
- PHR or SPHR certification strongly preferred
**Licenses**
- Valid driver's license required & motor vehicle record must be in good standing.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in process-based Employee Relations strongly preferred
- Experience in a labor-intensive industry that is highly dependent on employee and team-performance strongly preferred
- Multi-site experience preferred
