Mr. Bauer currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of CardioMEMS. Previously, Mr. Bauer served as the Chief Financial Officer for Industriaplex, Granite City Food and Brewery (NASDAQ: GCFB), and Church’s Chicken, the largest division of AFC Enterprises (NASDAQ: AFCE). Mr. Bauer began his career in public accounting at Price Waterhouse. Mr. Bauer has been a board member of the Association for Corporate Growth since 2008 and is an alumnus of the Leadership Atlanta Class of 2005. Additionally, Mr. Bauer is a recipient of a 2013 Atlanta Business Chronicle CFO of the Year Award and a 2011 recipient of a Delaney Consulting Excellence in Finance and Accounting Award. Mr. Bauer is a member of the AICPA and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, a Certified Treasury Professional, and a National Association of Corporate Directors Governance Fellow. Mr. Bauer holds a B.S. in Finance and a Masters in Accounting from the University of Tennessee, and an M.B.A. from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
