Carpet World company history timeline
The Carpet World name stems back to 1971 and has a rich history of success in the flooring industry.
Redi Carpet’s first location was opened in Houston, Texas in 1981.
In 1992, he left Redi Carpet and moved to Denver where he eventually opened Caress Flooring Contractors.
The first branch outside of Texas, the Denver location opened its doors 1993.
He has worked in the multi-family flooring industry since 1994.
In 1998, Brian returned home to his family in Houston and Redi Carpet where he took a position as an REO Account Manager.
A pioneer in the flooring industry for almost 50 years, Jerry has served as Redi’s President & COO since 1999.
2003 The most talked about Rug Store in Delhi had a grand opening through me.
He has spent his past 18 years in flooring and started his career with Redi in 2008 as GM for Tucson.
Hauldren died in 2011, but he survives in a virtual form, selling carpet installation to the masses like the Orville Redenbacher of flooring.
The carpet industry, while significantly more popular than any kind of flooring, saw declines in 2015, falling in comparison to hardwood flooring (13.8 percent), ceramic (13.1 percent) and vinyl flooring (11.3 percent). Carpet remains the most popular kind of flooring, but it’s losing ground.

With over three decades of multi-family industry experience, Dave started at Redi Carpet in 2016 as General Manager of the Denver location.
He was then promoted to Regional Vice President in January of 2019 with responsibility for Redi’s existing branches as well as future growth in the Northeast region.
In 2019 she moved to Virginia and began her new role as Vice President.
Prior to joining Redi Carpet in 2020, Scott served as President of a large regional multi-family provider.
