Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children. Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; and maintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom. Maintain a child assessment and portfolio for each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May. Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role. Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
