Role:
The teacher will deliver structured homeschool instruction in elementary and middle school level subjects (reading, writing, and math), support curriculum implementation, and help foster an engaging learning environment tailored to the two students' needs.
Requirements

Experience working with students with dyslexia and high -functioning autism is essential
Experience teaching elementary and middle school levels

This is an approach to academic intervention used to provide systematic, and appropriately intensive assistance to children who are at risk for or already underperforming as compared to appropriate grade- or age-level standards. Intervention teachers will use universal screening, Direct Instruction intervention, frequent progress monitoring, and increasingly intensive research-based instruction and interventions for students who continue to have difficulty.
This position is grant-funded with Title I Part A funds. This is a grant-funded position and funding may be extended. A grant-funded position has no guarantee of ongoing and indefinite employment. All duties and responsibilities tied to this position are allowable and allocable to the grant. The employee will work solely (100%) on allowable activities outlined in the grant program.
