City of Lake Oswego company history timeline

1910

Murphy arrived in Portland in 1910 as the Vice-President and General Sales Manager of the Ladd Estate Company and later became the president of the Oregon Iron & Steel Company.

1920

Many of its older neighbourhoods are built in the Tudor Revival and English Cottage styles popular in the 1920s.

1926

In 1926, the first City Hall was built on A Avenue between State and First Streets.

1928

In 1928 Paul C. Murphy constructed the house as the office for Ladd Estate Company real estate business.
