About the Role Team Coaches play a critical role in implementing Bouldering Project's youth team curriculum, supporting the development of youth climbers as athletes, teammates, and individuals. This role involves direct coaching, curriculum execution, safety oversight, and meaningful engagement with both youth and their families. Team Coaches are key representatives of Bouldering Project values and help extend the facility's reach into elite youth climbing. Coach Role and Responsibilities This Coach Across America AmeriCorps coach will support Building Bridges Late Night League with an emphasis on growing girls participation in basketball. The coach will also support related programs outside of Late Night League including collaboration with on-site partners at THEARC such as the Washington School for Girls (WSG) and their basketball team. WSG engages girls from 3rd -8th grade. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for creating a positive, high energy, respectful OTF studio environment Responsible for managing all aspects of the OTF coaching staff using the OTF business model Hires, trains, and educates new OTF coaches for success using OTF business model Manage, monitor, develop, and evaluate performance of OTF coaches Responsible for functionality, organization, and cleanliness of the training floor, as well as other areas of the studio Responsible for OTF class schedule as well as management of the MBO system. Conducts monthly fitness staff meetings and attends all relative, mandatory webinars, meetings and learning opportunities Handles member concerns in a professional, objective manner with the goal of resolution. Must work 40 hours, including a minimum of 15-18 classes per week. Schedule must include opening, mid-day, closing, weekend and special studio events.
