Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties and to do this they send out independent contractors. The purpose of the property inspection is: To verify property occupancy. We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned. Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards.
