Instruct employees in proper work methods and standards; monitor crew work quality; ensure adherence to time schedules and safe work practices, provide performance feedback and into performance review. Operate all equipment necessary to complete assigned tasks such as backhoe, motor grader, tractors, street sweeper, hand tools, and mowing machines. Perform equipment repair and maintenance duties. Participate in stand-by during natural disasters or inclement weather. Maintain alleys and right of ways by being mowed and cleaned.     About the Role: The Highway Construction Foreman plays a critical leadership role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of highway construction projects to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality completion. This position is responsible for managing on-site personnel, equipment, and materials while maintaining strict adherence to project plans, safety regulations, and budget constraints. The foreman acts as the primary point of contact between project managers, superintendents, and labor crews, facilitating clear communication and efficient workflow. By proactively identifying and resolving issues, the foreman ensures that construction milestones are met and that the finished highway infrastructure meets all engineering and regulatory standards. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in highway or heavy civil construction, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or foreman role. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment used in highway projects. Valid Texas driver's license. Ability to read, interpret and utilize construction plans.
