The company finally began providing colocation services in 1999.
In 2002, Data Foundry acquired Reliant Energy's Internet and data center operations in Houston, Texas, making it the third Internet data center owned and operated by Data Foundry.
As the customer base grew both nationally and internationally, Texas.Net changed its name to Data Foundry in 2005.
Texas 2 opens its doors in late 2017 with over 16 network carriers on site.
