Essential Functions: * Provide a welcoming and inviting atmosphere to all residents, serve as an initial point of contact to the community center. * Prepare reports based on distributed calendar, sign-in sheets, and the number of contracted program hours and activities offered each month. * Design, create and post monthly calendars and updated flyers weekly to advertise activities and program offerings on-site. Door to door distribution throughout the property including the use of stairs. * Oversees program offerings and activities, recruit's volunteers, solicit donations and work with community partners. * Log communications with volunteers, community partners and donations regularly, submit monthly log. * Provide information about local resources or assistance within the community to residents. * Enlist residents' support and participation with program planning and activities to ascertain whether additional services or programs are needed. Communicate resident needs to personnel to facilitate addressing those needs proactively. * Independently monitor, observe, and interact with children, adults and or seniors. * Maintain sign-in sheets for each activity and program offering regardless of participation or attendees. * Fiscally responsibly use tax-exempt certificate and number. A shop setting allows for work to take place on an even, concrete surface. Essential Function: Installation of piping systems onboard and within vessel modules, to include positioning, fastening, and connecting various systems, such as heat and power, hot water, hydraulic, air pressure and oil lines. The pipefitter will weld pipe support brackets, connect pipes to fixtures and, to a lesser degree, fabricate lengths of piping systems onboard or within vessel modules. Physical Demands: Heavy items are positioned with a chainfall, overhead crane, or a come-along. Standing is again considered constant and walking occasional. Because workers commonly work in pairs, the 40lb maximum can generally be observed. The heaviest come-along can weigh in the 75lb range and could be handled occasionally during the course of a day, depending upon the job. Essential Function: An additional function is that the pipefitter is responsible for testing installed systems to ensure specifications utilizing hydrostatic and other pressurized equipment. Physical Demands: This function requires the individual to stand on a continuous basis. It is our goal to give families the tools they need to make a significant impact on the development of their children. EIS employees receive a $3000 increase in base pay upon completion of their credentialing. We provide our full-time employees 5 weeks' paid time off per year in addition to company holidays. We offer a flexible work schedule as well, and most employees opt to work a 4/10 schedule. We extend to our employees the option to enroll in agency-sponsored benefits: medical, dental, vision, HSA, Dependent Care FSA, Employee Assistance Program, and a 403(b) retirement savings plan with a match of 3% after service requirements are met. Position Type: Full-time (40 hrs.) Location: Kingwood, Porter and surrounding areas Key responsibilities: Assist families through the enrollment process: (Intake, Screening, IFSP) Contact families within 5 working days of recruiting a referral. Collect identifying information from parent report, observations of child, medical professionals and records. Administer State Screening Tool which includes: Hearing, Vision, Nutrition, Assistive Technology, Autism and VCFS. Arrange and facilitate developmental assessments to determine eligibility. Provide direct services to children and their families at home, daycare or other "natural environment". State Requirement: Services must begin within 28 days of writing the IFSP.
