Reece Kurtenbach is the Chief Executive Officer for Daktronics, Inc. and currently serves as chairman of the Board of Directors. Previously, Reece served as Executive Vice President for Live Events and International, and provided corporate oversight for the company’s design and development engineering. After graduation, Reece worked for a few years in two other technical companies, and then returned to Daktronics in 1991 to work as an Applications Engineer on large display projects. In 1994, he became manager of a design group, leading the development of Daktronics' first full color LED video display product. Since then, Daktronics has become a leader in the technology of large screen LED video displays, and the acknowledged world leader in sales in this product category.

Bruce Hueners began with Hughes Aircraft (now Palomar Technologies) in 1981 where he collaborated in the development of laser interferometric measurement, die attach and wire bond systems and processes. Mr. Hueners' extensive engineering knowledge includes microelectronic packaging and interconnects, microwave and RF, and optoelectronic applications. He has published more than 50 technical papers and serves on the editorial boards of several trade journals. Additionally, Mr. Hueners is the current Chairman of the San Diego World Trade Center, where he serves on the Board of Directors, Executive Committee. He has participated on many international trade panels, including those on USA-China business relations. Mr. Hueners received his B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California, an MBA from Indiana University, and a Certificate from the Executive Program for Scientists & Engineers at UCSD. He is a member of IMAPS, SMTA, IEEE, and the Optical Society of America. A retired Marine Corps Lieutenant, Mr. Hueners resides in Carlsbad, CA and has three sons.
