Job Description
AECOM is seeking an experienced Utility Coordinator to support roadway and infrastructure projects for the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) and local agencies. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of utility identification, conflict analysis, relocation design, and documentation in accordance with SCDOT Utility Coordination Guidelines, Federal regulations, and local requirements.
This position plays a vital role in ensuring that all utility conflicts are resolved in a timely, cost-effective, and compliant manner, supporting the delivery of roadway and bridge improvement projects across the state.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary point of contact between SCDOT, utility owners, consultants, and contractors for utility coordination efforts.
* Review SUE (Subsurface Utility Engineering) data, utility as-built drawings, and survey information to identify existing utilities and potential conflicts.
* Prepare and maintain Utility Coordination Reports (UCRs), Utility Relocation Reports (URRs), and other documentation per SCDOT standards.
* Coordinate with internal design teams to incorporate utility information and conflict resolutions into roadway and bridge plans.
* Lead or assist in utility coordination meetings with owners, design staff, and SCDOT representatives.
* Develop and review Utility Relocation Plans, agreements, and estimates for inclusion in final right-of-way (ROW) and construction plan submittals.
* Track relocation schedules, manage correspondence, and maintain documentation throughout all project phases.
* Ensure compliance with SCDOT's Utility Accommodation Manual, Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) regulations, and SC Code of Laws Title 57.
* Support right-of-way coordination efforts and assist in identifying impacts to utilities and property owners.
* Provide input on utility-related design solutions and assist in conflict mitigation planning.
Working Conditions & Environment
* Primarily office-based with occasional field visits for utility identification or coordination meetings.

A Brief Summary of This Position:
This is an individual contributor position responsible for developing and managing the production schedule in order to balance effectively the customer demands and supply capacity. Schedule is segmented by daily, weekly and monthly buckets. Planning horizon for this position is 2-6 months. This position reports into the Production Control Supervisor
This position coordinates the activities and deployable production schedules with the Shop Dispatch and Industrial Engineering
Evaluate MRP requirements and pull signals to create Purchase Orders for value stream fabricated and raw materials to satisfy take time (shortage reports)
Maintain planned scheduling parameters, such as lead-times, lot sizes, safety stocks, delivery times and order file data for all scheduled items
Create a level supply schedule that satisfies customer demand with optimum inventory levels and resource utilization as dictated by division policy
Identify, negotiate, and resolve conflicts with respect to material and capacity availability and order-promising integrity
Analyze requirements and release items to coordinate delivery of material to Composites and various manufacturing facilities, subcontractors, or outside farm-out supply
Review ECN's (Engineering Change Notice) for new or change to existing materials. Coordinate transition to new material and manage inventory levels
Summarize daily and weekly master schedules for released and firm planned orders and compare these to the production plan to ensure that the master schedule is within S&OP policy

The HVAC Lab Technician supports the testing and validation of HVAC systems and components in a hands-on laboratory environment. What We Are Looking For

What We Offer
Compensation: This is a salaried non-exempt role. This means that employees are paid a salary and also receive overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law). The starting salary range for this role and market is between $52,000 - $68,250 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's applicable plan.
