Check for broken, damaged or out‐of‐tolerance tools and fixtures, route them for proper repair and maintain records of withdrawals, returns, breakage and reconditioning. Update necessary tooling setup information and isolate jobs to be maintained in pre‐set for future runs. Coordinate tooling requirements with manufacturing engineering, purchasing and other functions. Maintain all tooling records for government and customer inventories and inspection. Maintain records of all tooling and fixtures sent to suppliers. Use computer terminal to track tooling activity and tool locations. Job Description AECOM Hunt is seeking Low Voltage Electrical Construction Project Engineer to be based in Jacksonville, FL. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Assist in overseeing activities of construction crafts/trades within an assigned area of responsibility. Receives continual supervision and direction in the performance of assigned responsibility. Receives technical and operational direction from the assigned Superintendent or Project Manager. Assists with the planning and coordination of sub-contractor activities within the area of responsibility. Monitor's subcontractor personnel to ensure adherence with project plans and promotes quality control of all installations. Enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by Field Management. Assists with compliance of the AECOM Hunt safety program that creates a safe and healthy work environment on the jobsite. Work with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate including but not limited to updating drawings, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes and other documents as required. When requested, interfaces with client, architect, and design professionals to ensure compliance to design intent and client satisfaction. Contribute to building good communications between field management, project management, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and specialty contractors to ensure construction complies with plans, specifications, and company quality standards. Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing training skills in order to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Candidate must have completed Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Construction Management, Building Technology or similar major, or have demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting large complex projects (stadiums, sports facilities, arenas) Experience in construction in Low Voltage systems (telecom, fiber optics, data centers, CCTV, security systems, BAS) Experience in broadcast facility construction, stadium systems and cabling. Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings. Applicable OSHA certification(s). Able to follow directions and interact with all levels of management on a working construction project. Prior Internship experience within the construction industry. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The Project Manager at Miller Electric reports directly to the Director and VP. This is a client-facing role that requires the ability to build relationships both in and out of the office. The core responsibility of a Project Manager is to learn through on-the-job experience, peer-to-peer engagement, and technical training. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Ensure all company, client, and project policies/procedures are followed as specified. * Generate estimates, prepare and review project proposal or plan to determine and establish a time frame, work plan, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various project phases * Oversee the project through administrative direction of on-site supervision to ensure the project is built following design, budget, and schedule * Actively interfacing with the customer to validate expectations are understood and met before, during, and after project completion * Plan, coordinate, and/or manage activities of all company personnel and subcontractors on assigned project(s) * Generate billings and lead the collections process for projects * Frequent project visits with field supervision and other personnel to understand progress, needs, or issues. Assist in the planning of future labor/material needs of the project * Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to the job site by working directly with vendors * Build long-term relationships with both clients and fellow employees by consistently exceeding expectations * Offering innovative solutions developing methods of procedures in sequence of operations * Capable of locating end users driver solutions * Provide consistent feedback and reports to the business unit vice president/or Director * Manage project review process with particular emphasis on financial forecasting * Provide advice, guidance, mentoring, and direction to team and other junior personnel toward the achievement of their personal development goals * Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing skills and competencies to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity * Proactively lead the team job site safety and adherence to company policies and national safety standards for personnel under his or her supervision. * Actively participate in industry even and community engagement activities * Preparing Change Management Forms and Methods of Procedure (MOPs).
