They will review patient medical history and document their sleep issues, and keep records of patient progress. They will also explain to patients the nature of procedures that will be performed on them and prepare them for the procedures. During studies, equipment may be attached to their bodies and make sure the patient is comfortable before sleeping. This position is responsible for scoring all sleep studies once completed. Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Conduct sleep study procedures by following proper procedural protocols and accurately score the completed sleep study. * Document routine observations including sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedure and significant events to facilitate scoring and interpretation of polysomnographic results * Perform data acquisition while monitoring study-tracing quality to ensure signals are artifact-free. About this position Provides advanced life support care to the sick and injured and safely transports customers of all ages to a medical facility. In addition, the paramedic assists with other services and events as directed by North Memorial Ambulance Service. Requirements Education • Successfully completed paramedic training program from an accredited institution required. • Associate of Science degree preferred. State Requirement • American Heart Association ACLS and BLS Certification or Amercian Red Cross ALS and BLS Certification upon hire or within 14 days. NMHC Standard • Valid State Class D driver's license in the state of residency with an acceptable driving record. State Requirement • American Heart Association or American Red Cross PALS Certification. NMHC Preferred • ICS-100, ICS-200 and ICS-700 or be able to obtain within 60 days of hire date. NMHC Standard Air Care Paramedic Requirements • Current Minnesota Paramedic Certification or obtain within 60 days of hire date. • Current Wisconsin Paramedic Certification or obtain within 6 months of hire date. • National Registered Paramedic. • American Heart Association ACLS and BLS Certification or American Red Cross ALS and BLS Certification upon hire or within 14 days. • Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C) within 12 months from date of hire. • American Heart Association and American Red Cross PALS Certification upon hire or within 14 days. • ICS-100, ICS-200 and ICS-700 or be able to obtain within 60 days of hire date. • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification or obtain within 6 months of hire date. • Maximum weight of 215 pounds in uniform. • Valid State Class D driver's license in the state of residency with an acceptable driving record.
