DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of the FieldService Engineer is to provide The Company's customers with on-site repair, troubleshooting, programming or maintenance services for The Company's Robots and related system peripheral equipment on an emergency or unscheduled basis.
The FieldService Engineer must be able to travel to a customer site on a moment's notice and remain on-site for the duration of time required to perform the troubleshooting and repair functions. Assignments may involve long hours, night, weekend and holiday work.
Air travel is sometimes required.
Customers may contact the 24-hour Hotline or the remote service engineer for service requests, which are logged in the Technical Service Log by the person contacted.
If the call is received by the Hotline, it is assigned to a Service Engineer by the Service Dispatcher. It is the Service Engineer's responsibility to schedule the call with the customer, identify and obtain any parts or software required.
Upon the completion of the call a FieldService Report describing the problem, the corrective action and detailing the labor, material and travel expense costs is provided to the customer and then returned to HQ for processing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ability to discuss, diagnosis & repair robot operational and process problems as reported by the customer or Hotline
Troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of the Company's Robots and controllers, electrical control devices, and peripheral equipment
Primary responsibility is to support The Company's Robot products.
Documenting The Company's products and related peripheral equipment performance, failure modes and reporting results for the purpose of troubleshooting, repairing, and restarting the system
Daily reporting to the Service Supervisor & Dispatch to update status & availability
Completion of a FieldService report for each customer call
Maintenance of a service tool kit and documentation to facilitate rapid customer response
Perform warranty service on The Company's products
Coordinate responsibilities, activities, and schedule with Service Supervisor to insure customer satisfaction, proper billing, and support collections activities
Communicate frequently with involved The Company's America employees and customer employees to insure that expectations are being met
Return of parts shipped for the service call but not purchased by the customer or defective parts replaced under warranty
Maintenance of a home office for coordinating activities in between service calls
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

We currently are looking for an Electronics Technician to join our Repair/Engineering/FieldService department.
Responsibilities:
Repair electronic drives, controllers and pc boards
Troubleshoot and test electronic components to board level, using various methods and testing equipment
Repair and/or replace electronic components to board level, including but not limited to: diodes, transistors, resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, other printed circuit components, etc.
Verify repairs using start-up testing procedures
Installs, repairs, tests, troubleshoots and maintains electrical equipment and fixtures.
Determines method and sequence of proposed installation of electrical fixtures and equipment such as AC/DC motors, control panels, PLC's, switches and transformers by referring to blueprints, schematic drawings, specifications or verbal instructions.
Analyzes failures of electrical equipment, using ammeter, voltmeter, ohmmeter, drawings and visual inspection.
Performs preventative and reliability centered maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
Associated degree in electronics or electrical technology or relevant military experience.
Ability to solder/de-solder
Thorough understanding of electronic circuitry
Ability to recognize different electronic components as their functions
Familiarity with and ability to utilize different types of test equipment such as function generators, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and power supplies.
Possesses strong communication skills
Regularly required to sit, stand and lift up to 50 lbs.

The work:
* Works in a highly client-facing role to lead the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of complex, global and large-scale Service technology solutions for customer channel solutions & CCaaS solutions
* Develops strong working relationships with the senior management team and identifies follow-on project opportunities
* Manages and contributes to development of the platform migration and global roll out strategy and execution
* Works with software and technology partners to design & deliver Service-focused solutions
* Plans and estimates delivery work with an Agile approach, focusing on project milestones, resource planning (both on-shore and off-shore), scope, budget, risk identification and mitigation planning
* Manages day to day on-shore and off-shore project teams during the project lifecycle
* Manages the project ideation, gathering the high-level business requirements, defining the detailed requirements and process into epics and stories

Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
* 8+ years of experience in technology transformation, with a focus on CCaaS or cloud-based contact center solutions.
* 7+ years of proven track record of selling and leading large-scale transformation projects and driving organizational change.
* 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, project management, stakeholder engagement, strategic leadership and change management
* 7+ years of experience with CCaaS technologies and industry best practices, including CCaaS strategy, migration and implementation on a variety of platforms such as, AWS, Google CCAI, Genesys, NICE etc.
* 8+ years of experience in aligning technology capabilities with contact center benchmarks, quality metrics, agent scorecard etc.
Good to have (preferred skills):
* Minimum 10 years of experience with both Waterfall and Agile SDLC, implementing large, complex technology platforms.
* 5+ years of experience implementing comprehensive end-to-end service center & fieldservice software suites such as Salesforce, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, IFS, Genesys, Nice, Sprinklr, Twilio
* Experience in algorithmic decisioning or interactive management
* Strong understanding of PCI/PII security and data privacy requirements
* Exceptionally strong leadership & communication skills to effectively manage client accounts and multidisciplinary teams
* Experience in a consulting environment with demonstrated record of continuing responsibilities, creativity, and innovation in a complex global scale program (e.g., multi-country, language, brand, etc.)
* Experience working with clients in various industry verticals such as Healthcare, Insurance, SLED - State/Local/Education, Public Sector, Retail Services etc.

These technicians are essential to the ships Combat Systems department, ensuring readiness for combat operations across the fleet.
Responsibilities
As an Electronics Technician (ET) or Fire Controlman (FC), you may:
Maintain and repair radar, communication, and navigation equipment.
Operate, maintain, and repair fire control radars, mainframe computers, large screen displays, LANs, weapon control consoles, and automatic gun systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical systems used in weapons systems.
Support combat systems readiness aboard aircraft carriers, Aegis cruisers, and other surface ships.
Work Environment
ETs and FCs serve on fleet units worldwide and at shore-based repair facilities. Expect assignments aboard ships, at remote stations, and in technical repair shops. Work is highly technical, requiring precision and teamwork.
