I lead a $133 billion cooperative bank and member of the Farm Credit System that serves vital agricultural and infrastructure industries across all fifty states of rural America. I have over 20 years of leadership experience in the financial services industry and have extensive experience working with customers all around the world including the solicitation, review, structuring and approval of loan, and bond transactions in multiple industries around the world. My background also includes significant enterprise-wide risk management experience, having served in leadership roles responsible for financial risk disciplines including credit, market, operational, reputational and liquidity. I bring a broad global perspective to my work based on experiences derived from living and working 16 years in Europe and Asia, and advising customers in over 50 countries in Western Europe, Central and Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. I hale from a rural family of farmers and infrastructure providers and I am proud to support the rural economy every day and believe deeply in serving rural communities across the country.

Noor Menai is an experienced financial services leader with over 20 years of banking experience. Mr. Menai is currently the President & CEO of CTBC Bank USA, where he oversees U.S. operations including the bank’s Commercial and Industrial, and Commercial Real Estate lending groups. Additionally, he serves as the Deputy Head of International Business. With 14 branches coast to coast in California, New Jersey, and New York, CTBC Bank is one of the first Asian American Banks to operate both in the Eastern and Western United States. A sought-after and frequent speaker on topics that include consumer banking, corporate banking, small business financing and fintech, Mr. Menai has spoken at Financial Times’ Global Banking Summit and the LAEDC Economic Forecast. In 2020, Mr. Menai was honored to be included in the Los Angeles Business Journal’s list of 500 most influential people in LA. Mr. Menai regularly provides industry and market analysis to major media and conferences including Bloomberg TV, The Economist, Financial Times, Los Angeles Times and The New York Times. As a strong advocate for undeserved students, Mr. Menai is a Board Member for the USC Rossier School of Education. Under the leadership of Mr. Menai, CTBC helped USC CAC expand to include 41 advisers in 36 schools in the Greater Los Angeles area.

Mark Anson is the Chief Executive Officer, President, and Chief Investment Officer for the Commonfund with $30 billion of AUM. He is also a Board member of the Commonfund and, as such, has full Fiduciary, Executive, and Investment authority. Previously, he was the CIO for the Bass Family Office of Ft. Worth, Texas which was recognized as Family Office of the Year for 2014-2015. He was the President and Executive Director of Investment Services at Nuveen Investments, a full service asset management firm with over $900 billion in assets under management. Prior to Nuveen, Mark served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer for both Hermes Pension Management, a £55 billion asset management company, and for the British Telecom Pension Scheme, the largest fund in the UK with assets of £45 billion and the sole owner of Hermes. Prior to joining BTPS, he served as the Chief Investment Officer of the California Public Employees' Retirement System, the largest pension fund in the United States with over $300 billion in assets. Mark is the only person to serve on the CFA and CAIA Board of Governors. Currently, he is the Chair of the Investment Committee for the UAW Medical Benefits Trust, and is a board member for the Toigo Foundation, and the Northwestern University School of Law. Mark has published over 100 journal articles and 5 financial textbooks and has won three Best Paper Awards. He is the author of the Handbook of Alternative Assets, the textbook used for the CAIA certification program. Mark earned a B.A. in Economics and Chemistry from St. Olaf College, a J.D. from Northwestern Univ. School of Law, and a Masters and a Ph.D. in Finance from Columbia Univ. Graduate School of Business, all with honors. He is a member of the NY and IL Bar. In addition, Mark has won several awards for leadership in institutional asset management. Last, he has earned the CFA, Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Global Management Accountant, and Certified Internal Auditor professional designations.
