The Big Task
You will camera, diagnose and repair residential drain systems and lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions. This unique role combines technical expertise in sewer camera inspection and diagnostics with sales responsibilities for recommending repair and replacement services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drains or a related field, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude.
Responsibilities
Complete all drain cleaning, jetting and cable work related to in-home, service calls.
Actively engage with clients during sewer camera inspections to identify potential repair or replacement needs.
Provide camera service for main line stoppages
Know how to establish customer rapport to provide the right products and services.
Educate and assist customers on the importance of sewer repair and replacement.
Explain reasons for blockage and illustrate how you will resolve the issue.
Understand your service criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding goals.
Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
Work along side customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business.
Protect drain cleaning and camera equipment and keep a well inventoried truck.
Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, trade shows and retreats.
Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs.
Be accurate and timely with invoices, time cards, curbside feedback and option sheets.
Occasional 12-8 and Saturday shifts will be required, but scheduled in advance
Requirements:
Proven experience in plumbing, sewer inspection, or a related field.
Proficiency in operating sewer camera equipment and diagnostic tools.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
