Summary:
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) delivers rapid-response, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. This role involves assessing patient conditions, implementing urgent care plans, administering life-saving treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality, efficient, patient-centered care in critical situations. Essential Work Functions:
Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition
Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved emergency nursing techniques and protocols
Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergency treatments and examinations
Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout their time in the emergency department, responding to immediate needs
Observe and document patient conditions as required within scope of practice
Take and monitor vital signs using clinical judgment to address deviations and prevent complications
Respond to life-saving situations based upon emergency nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols
Document comprehensive nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR)
Initiate patient education plans according to individualized needs, considering the acute nature of emergency care
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, paramedics, social workers and other support staff to ensure comprehensive care

Responsible for maintaining a caseload of victims of alcohol and drugged driving who are in need of short-term crisis intervention, emotional support, grief support groups, and appropriate referral sources for continued long-term needs. Provide court accompaniment and guidance with legal, financial, and medical systems. Work in conjunction with other Victim Services employees to provide consultation and support to victims where needed.
This is a remote part-time 20 hrs/week, $21.63/ hour, in which the selected candidate must reside in Gallup, NM.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Utilizing independent judgment, conduct individual needs assessments on victims/survivors of alcohol and drugged driving crashes for emotional support, information, and referrals, implementing beneficial interventions based upon those assessments. Maintain current assessment of victim's coping and need for further referrals.
Based upon assessment, create and implement a tailored case management action plan for victims, which may include grief support assistance, crisis intervention, referrals for long-term counseling issues and other basic needs, as well as support group facilitation. May accompany victims/survivors to justice proceedings as appropriate. Provide advocacy by assisting in the protection and exertion of victims/survivors rights and educating others about the criminal and civil justice systems.
Conduct community needs assessments and analyze results to determine the development, facilitation, and implementation of appropriate victim services, programs and events.
Based upon results of community needs assessments, create and implement effective outreach strategies to reach victims and survivors of drunk and drugged driving crashes who may not otherwise be aware of MADD Victim Services.
Utilizing analysis of community needs assessment, establish and utilize a network of key individuals in the legal, medical, and social service systems to facilitate assistance for victims/survivors. Collect and maintain community resource information to share with victims and other Victim Services employees.
Recruit, screen, train, deploy, and recognize volunteers who provide assistance in meeting Victim Service initiatives.
Maintain accurate case records, statistical information and grant reports for each victim case according to MADD and grant standards and guidelines. May be responsible for grant writing and reporting to grantor and MADD.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree is required in a human services field of study (i.e. social work, psychology, sociology, criminal justice) with a minimum of one year of experience in victim advocacy (specifically case management) OR grief support work (specifically bereaved individuals due to death)
Equivalent experience that includes experience in victim advocacy (specifically case management) and/or grief support work (specifically bereaved individuals due to death).
Reliable transportation to court attendance is required along with a flexible schedule.

Relocation incentive for all new teachers, counselors and administrators will be paid in full on the first paycheck of the school year.
All other incentives for teachers and counselors will be paid out over the course of two school years in four installments. Payment will be made ¼ in December of the first contract year, ¼ in May of the first contract year, ¼ in December of the second contract year and ¼ in May of the second contract year. The incentive will be prorated for hires made after the official work calendar start date but prior to December 31, 2025. Any hires made on or after December 31, 2025, will not be eligible to receive the signing incentives listed above. Failure to complete the terms of the employment contract in either/both of the two school years will result in the forfeiture of the entire signing incentive and relocation incentive. Role Description:
As a Spiritual Counselor with LDV Hospice, youll offer meaningful spiritual guidance and emotional care to patients, their families, caregivers, and staff. This role involves supporting individuals from all spiritual pathsincluding those without a religious affiliationand helping them find peace, meaning, and comfort during the end-of-life process.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide supportive, non-judgmental spiritual care to patients and their families
Respect and uphold each individuals beliefs, rituals, and faith traditions
Collaborate with patients clergy or connect them with appropriate community spiritual leaders
Conduct or assist with memorial services, blessings, or end-of-life rituals upon request
Attend interdisciplinary care meetings and contribute to holistic care planning
Offer education and support to staff and volunteers regarding spiritual care topics
Maintain clear, timely documentation in line with hospice protocols
Conduct scheduled visits and participate in the spiritual care on-call rotation
Provide emotional and spiritual support to fellow team members when needed
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience:
Minimum 2 years in pastoral care or spiritual counseling (3+ years in hospice or healthcare preferred)
Education:
Master of Divinity or a comparable theological degree
Ordination or licensure as clergy in New Mexico
Completion of 4 CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education) units strongly preferred
Additional Requirements:
Valid drivers license and current auto liability insurance
Ability to serve patients in homes, facilities, and other care settings
