Gentry Locke company history timeline
Gentry Locke traces its history back to 1923, to the predecessor firm of Funkhouser and Apperson.
In 1965 the firm name was changed to Gentry Locke Rakes & Moore.
The expanding firm needed more space, and in 1977 the firm moved to new offices as part of a downtown revitalization effort, into what is now the SunTrust Plaza building.
In 2013, Gentry Locke appointed Monica Taylor Monday as Managing Partner.
In 2015, Gentry Locke unveiled its new logo and opened an office in downtown Lynchburg, Virginia.
