Key Responsibilities

Position Summary
The GraphicDesigner works as part of a team of designers in Advancement Communications serving multiple units, including the UO Alumni Association (UOAA). This position maintains visual identity and branding within UO Brand Management and Trademark Licensing, University Advancement, and the UOAA while creating high-quality marketing, branding, and communications materials that span both traditional and digital platforms.
The position will design with the intended audience taken into consideration. These audiences include donors, alumni, students, parents and families, and friends of the university. The work we do can be specialized and unique. The art director will critically review your work samples to make an assessment of whether the work you are presenting can extrapolate into our work. A curated sample deck is ideal, with examples of: logo design, typography, advertising layout, multiple page document layout, Photoshop and Illustrator skills, product photography (including postproduction), packaging, and product design. Any typographic illustration skills, a text-heavy piece, and any 3D modelling design are good to share too..
