Treva is seeking a full-time contracted CCU RN to join our team! The position is located in Grayling, MI. This is a six bed critical care unit that, related to COVID, has been primarily a COVID critical care often housing multiple acutely intubated patients or patients requiring non-invasive ventilators. The CCU is managed by 24-hour in-house Hospitalist coverage with no specialties in-house. Most specialty-requiring admissions are transferred to higher level facilities. Given the small unit; willingness to work with others and operate as a team is a must. Traditionally, while all nurses have an individual assignment of 2 patients the expectation is that each nurse will work with the other two RNs to ensure quality care is given to all patients, not just their “own.” This is also a full-care position in that we rarely have a CNA/PCA on the unit to support the RNs with bathing/turning/repositioning.
